ZweiteGPS is a comprehensive GPS logging and viewing application compatible with both Apple Maps and Google Maps. It harnesses the GPS capabilities of the device itself as well as external GPS receivers to provide real-time position display, route searching, and detailed activity trail logging with support for background operation.

• Using a mobile phone while driving may violate traffic laws and safe driving regulations; users are advised to operate responsibly.
• Continuous use of built-in microphone, gyroscope functions, or background GPS activity can significantly drain the device's battery life.
• The application requires devices equipped with GPS functionality; external GPS receivers compatible with iOS are supported. For Wi-Fi only models, ensure proper environment setup for GPS data acquisition.
• All displayed screenshots have been processed with an ad-blocking add-on.

The application supports import of various formats including JSON (default), KML/KMZ, GPX (UTC and local time), TCX, NMEA0183, IGC, GeoJSON, XML (GeoNation system), CSV (Geospatial map export only), and KingGPS Plist. Importing files involves selecting the log via in-app interface or using "Open in" from other apps to copy data into ZweiteGPS. Exported logs can be converted between supported formats through dedicated options within the app.

The application offers gesture controls such as dragging for map panning, single taps for action menus, two-finger taps for layering map controls, and long-presses to hide views. Position viewing and log previews are accessible via intuitive gestures on-screen elements. These features aim to facilitate ease of navigation and data management during field operations—always considering responsible usage guidelines when operating the device while moving.
